If you're looking for a source of good, free events in New Jersey I suggest this website I stumbled upon: It's at http://www.kangalope.com -- and they list events like fairs and festivals in New Jersey and the rest of the tri-state. I've been a member for a while and I've really benefited from being regularly updated with these hard to find events.

I'd be happy to be an editor. I am currently an editor for our library's newsletter. I've also written articles. I'd also like to offer input on the web page.

Another thing that I've seen more people doing is posting their videos on YouTube but then also posting to places like Google and BlipTV. Maybe that might be an alternative way for libraries to post to their webs. The thing I love so much about YouTube though is that it's so easy for people to embed in their blogs and websites. Has anyone been using other sites besides YouTube?

(No youtube policies, yet)
We haven't been embedding any videos, but we made a couple for an upcoming program that will be used soon. The embedded video isn't a problem, but you say that there are thumbnails at the end of the embedded video...
I just looked at the video you have on your page from 3/18 and it only showed "replay" at the end...I see the thumbnails when you go to the url, for example, your video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW7T5AiGDNQ.

and I see your problem... on the right of the youtube page was a video called "booty meat" that I wouldn't want linked to my video, either.

I wonder if youtube has a policy that allows you to register a complaint, but I'm guessing that their related videos are "tag" driven... but maybe not because the Highland Park video has only 2 tags and neither is "booty"-anything...

.... now that you mention it, we need to embed our video into the page and not link it... another problem is that our page (http://www.youtube.com/user/pbcls) has a subscriber who is linked to content we don't want our users to click through. So, glad I found your post. I think we'll embed our video instead of linking. You gave me something to think about. thanks.
